We started early because it gets hot very quickly in the desert. The plan was to ride from the hotel and do a loop around to get a feel for the trails. The girls peeled off right before the double black diamond Hi-line trail which offers fantastic views after you negotiate the tricky ascent and then down an even tougher descent. They ended up with 11 and I had 18 which was plenty as all water was depleted by the finish.
It has been dryer than usual here apparently.
I found the only water around and it felt really good.
This is how a lot of the trail rode with frequent ups and downs but plenty of views!
No social distancing issues here
